Read real question papers

You cannot answer these yet, and that is fine — that is not why we are here.

Fear lives in the imagined exam. Today we replace the imagined exam with the real one, question by question. You will read what UPSC actually asked — every word as it appeared in the hall — and by the end, this exam will have edges, a shape, and a size. Things with a shape can be prepared for.

One request: read, don't solve. Solving comes later, with study behind it. Today's only job is seeing.

Notice what you did not need today: coaching, current affairs, even notes. You needed to have read and thought. That is most of what this exam is.
